I recently ordered a linen sheet set from Parachute and was impressed with the quality of the sheets and the customer service (timely communication, quick delivery). Given the good experience in ordering the sheet set, I ordered a down-alternative pillow with medium firmness. When the pillow arrived, it was so soft my head nearly sunk into the mattress. Disappointed with the product, I boxed it up as a return and planned to order the next level up in firmness once the return was processed. Nearly two weeks went by before the pillow was processed at a return facility and another two weeks passed with no update on the refund for the pillow – nor was there any proactive communication regarding when the return was processed and next steps. I contacted Parachute a month after I sent the pillow back to inquire about my refund, at which point they finally manually refunded the cost of the pillow. Overall, a very disappointing experience – definitely underwhelmed my expectations in both the pillow quality and the return process.
After 1 wash the material became rough, after a week of sleeping on the sheets certain areas formed little balls of excess material as if all the lint gathered up in these spots. Very disappointed with how much I paid for these!
They sent me a pillow that was either used or dragged across the warehouse floor, covered hairs and dirt. Customer service quickly sent a replacement pillow and it had the same issues!
The sheets were discolored and have white blochy look - - instead of light blue. Very disappointed in the quality and result. No bleach or harsh detergent was used.
Advertised as shipping to APOs. Had been waiting weeks on end without anyone willing to determine the actual problem with the returned shipments. I wasted valuable time and now have no fresh new towels for my guests, and will be looking elsewhere for my new towels and sheets. Beyond disappointing. Still waiting for my refund; I initially ordered ~2 months ago.
Wouldn't buy again.
Well. I never got my refund. Does it go back on the same gift card? Cuz, I don’t have that gift card ang more
I placed a second order for my parachute pillows that were suppose to be firm, but are very soft..
I spent 100 dollars on two towels. I did not mind spending the money as I had heard great reviews on the products. The towels are super thin (which I originally thought was great until I used one) and not very absorbent. Using them feels more like brushing the water off than towelling dry.
For the price, very rough feel. These feel very stiff and cardboard, and the top sheet is much too big - actually causes me to get worse sleep.
